Marvel Rivals Unveils Season 1 "Darkhold" Battle Pass

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – A Deep Dive into the Darkhold Battle Pass

NetEase Games has unveiled the Darkhold Battle Pass for Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, offering a thrilling glimpse into the upcoming content. Dracula takes center stage as the primary antagonist, eclipsing Doctor Doom this time around. The narrative kicks off with Doctor Strange's capture, leaving the Fantastic Four to lead the counter-offensive against Dracula's forces. Season 1 launches January 10th at 1 AM PST.

The Battle Pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), provides substantial value. Completion rewards include 600 Lattice and 600 Units, usable for future cosmetic purchases or battle passes. Ten exclusive skins headline the rewards, complemented by sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. A key advantage: the pass doesn't expire, allowing players to complete it at their own pace.

A closer look at the Battle Pass reveals a striking visual theme:

Marvel Rivals Season 1 Battle Pass Skins:

  • Loki – All-Butcher
  • Moon Knight – Blood Moon Knight
  • Rocket Raccoon – Bounty Hunter
  • Peni Parker – Blue Tarantula
  • Magneto – King Magnus
  • Namor – Savage Sub-Mariner
  • Iron Man – Blood Edge Armor
  • Adam Warlock – Blood Soul
  • Scarlet Witch – Emporium Matron
  • Wolverine – Blood Berserker

The aesthetic leans heavily into a dark, gothic style. Wolverine's skin evokes Van Helsing, while the new maps feature a menacing blood moon casting its shadow over New York City. Loki's All-Butcher skin exudes menace, and Moon Knight's black and white contrast is striking. Scarlet Witch's classic red and purple attire remains, and Adam Warlock sports golden armor with a crimson cape.

While the Battle Pass has generated considerable excitement, the absence of Fantastic Four skins has surprised some. Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic debut in Season 1, but their cosmetics will be available separately in the in-game shop. Despite this, the sheer volume of new content has fans eagerly anticipating NetEase Games' next move.
