Microsoft unveiled Retro Classics with Game Pass, partnering with Antstream Arcade to deliver 50+ iconic Activision titles from the '80s and '90s to Game Pass subscribers.
The curated selection features classics like Commando, Grand Prix, Kaboom!, Mech Warrior 2: 31st Century Combat, and Pitfall!, with some titles dating back 45 years. For the first time in many cases, players can save progress and resume gameplay later.
Microsoft described Retro Classics as "demonstrating our ongoing commitment to game preservation and backwards compatibility." The collection will be accessible globally across all Game Pass tiers where the service operates.
