Just How Frightening Is It?
Set in 1898 within the ominous Sker Hotel on the Welsh coast, Maid of Sker plunges players into a world of dark secrets and spine-tingling Welsh hymns. The narrative draws inspiration from Welsh folklore, particularly the legend of Y Ferch o’r Sger (The Maid of Sker).
Players assume the role of Thomas Evans, whose girlfriend, Elisabeth Williams, enlists his help in investigating her family's unsettling behavior. However, the situation takes a sinister turn as the hotel's control by a sinister group known as 'The Quiet Ones' is revealed.
These enemies are blind but possess incredibly acute hearing. The slightest noise invites certain peril, and firearms are not a viable solution. Stealth and silence are paramount, echoing the tension of the film A Quiet Place. A helpful gadget temporarily stuns enemies, but it's not a foolproof solution. Prepare to be spooked!
