Mutants: Genesis - Cards Come Alive in Cyberpunk Strategy Game

After a two-year stint in early access on PC, Mutants: Genesis has finally launched across Android, iOS, and Steam platforms. Developed by Celsius Online, this innovative title is an online card game where the cards dynamically transform into animated creatures, bringing the battles to life.

A Mutants Cards Game?

In Mutants: Genesis, players are immersed in a futuristic world dominated by corporations and combat leagues. Here, you'll construct decks and summon mutants that evolve into animated fighters, engaging in thrilling battles within holographic arenas.

You assume the role of a Psycog, a tactical mastermind who leads genetically engineered mutants in fast-paced confrontations. As the new head of the Panakeia team, your journey will take you across the globe to compete in the Xtrem Mutants Junior League. Along the way, you'll encounter new Champions, unlock innovative cards, strategies, and gene-based abilities, ensuring that each game requires adaptation, strategic planning, and evolution of your tactics.

The game boasts over 200 cards, categorized into six distinct gene types. The Tech gene focuses on precision and machinery, offering mutants with abilities like Self-Repair and Dual Core for quick, precise strikes. Conversely, the Necro gene introduces a darker theme, allowing players to harness death as a weapon with cards that revive stronger and utilize unique resources like Bones to amplify your forces.

The Blades gene encourages sharp tactical thinking, utilizing Orbs and condition-based powers to shift the battle's momentum. Zoo embodies chaos, with mutants that rush in, rapidly evolve, and unleash unexpected moves as they advance. Space adds a militaristic touch, emphasizing squad unity and robust defensive strategies, while the Mystic gene harnesses magical forces like Burn and Stasis to dictate the battle's tempo and summon mythical beings.

The game keeps the community engaged with seasonal rewards, regular balancing updates, and the opportunity to rise as one of the elite Psycogs. Every aspect, from PvP victories to cooperative missions, contributes to earning new cards and crafting materials.
