First unveiled at Comiket last December, the newest installment in the Nekopara series, titled Nekopara Sekai Connect, is nearing its release. Pre-registration is now live for both mobile and PC platforms. This upcoming game represents a fresh evolution for the beloved franchise.
It retains the signature artwork of Sayori, the series creator, who is handling both the writing and illustrations. Development is led by Neko Works, with publishing duties handled by Good Smile Company.
What’s New?
This time, however, the gameplay introduces significant changes. Sekai Connect is a visual novel combined with a comprehensive social game. Players will engage in semi-automatic battles, manage a shop in sandbox mode, and enjoy rhythm-based segments set to original songs and music videos.
The narrative unfolds in a near-future world where AI-generated Nekos coexist with humanity. While these catgirls appear human, they possess distinct feline traits. Players will manage La Soleil, a patisserie familiar to long-time fans of the series.
The story begins when you receive an invitation to the Neko Festival, a worldwide competition where Nekos and their owners vie to become the most adored. The grand prize is a single wish granted by the AI responsible for creating the Nekos.

Nekopara Sekai Connect features a diverse cast of cats from around the globe. The game introduces five distinct schools, each with new characters: Sakuragaoka Neko Gakuen presents Yuzuha; Kinka Neko Science Academy welcomes Quince and Gertrude; Neko Gakuin introduces Sable and Canelé. Meanwhile, Bastet Neko Graduate School includes Palmyra, and Nekos Youth Academy features Donut.
Nekopara Sekai Connect Is Now Open for Pre-Registration
For those wishing to revisit previous stories, the original volumes 0 to 4, plus the Extra chapter, will be remastered as part of the Nekopara Love Project. These updated versions will include new episodes, music, and voice acting.
You can now pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store. Additional visuals and details are available on the official website.
