A decade ago, Picture Cross launched as "World’s Biggest Picture Cross," aspiring to become the definitive mobile nonogram experience. Today, boasting a library of more than 10,000 puzzles, Picture Cross marks its 10th anniversary with new game modes and additional puzzles.
Play the Game Today
Picture Cross offers an enormous variety of puzzles, with grid sizes ranging from small to large and difficulty settings from Easy to Expert. The core gameplay honors the classic nonogram rules: you use numerical clues to mark the correct squares, gradually revealing a pixel art image.
As you solve puzzles, you unlock entire themed collections and special hidden poster scenes. The game includes more than 60 themed puzzle packs. You can dive into Motorsport for a hundred high-speed puzzles or go intergalactic with Moonshot, a space-themed set of 100 challenges.
Alternatively, explore Mini Golf for a nostalgic trip, Rockstar for music enthusiasts, or Sci-Fi Celebration for fans of aliens and warp drives. You can also face Mythical Monsters, explore Fairy Tales, or unearth ancient secrets in Archaeology.
For more realistic themes, try A Day At The Races or The Airport, each offering a unique scene to complete. The Pirates! pack delivers a shipful of adventurous puzzles. And if you've already mastered the existing content, the Encyclopedia of Picture Cross presents a remixed collection for ongoing challenges.
Celebrate the 10th Anniversary with New Routes and Features
A Map View helps you chart your path through the puzzles. A newly added Tournament Mode is now available for competitive players. In addition, a handy playing guide offers solving strategies. All game modes include both classic and multi-colour puzzles.
Pete Williamson, CEO of the game's developer, puzzling.com, expressed his delight at the game's 10-year milestone. He extended a heartfelt thank you to the fans and hinted at more updates coming in 2025 and beyond. You can download the game from the Google Play Store.
