The early access version of Palworld continues to evolve with updates introducing new pals and islands. While the Sakurajima expansion added a few new pals, the Feybreak update significantly expands the game with over 20 new companions. New players might find locating Feybreak Island challenging due to the game's expansive map. This guide provides a clear path to reach this new area.
Feybreak Island Location Guide in Palworld
Feybreak Island is situated in the far southwestern region of the Palpagos Islands archipelago. It's visible from the southern coast of Mount Obsidian. To reach it, begin at Fisherman’s Point, a fast travel location on Mount Obsidian's southern coast. From there, utilize a flying or aquatic mount to traverse the ocean.
Players who haven't unlocked Mount Obsidian must first access this volcanic island. Mount Obsidian is one of the game's highest points and is easily spotted from many locations. Travel southeast, equipping heat-resistant gear, to unlock fast travel points within Mount Obsidian.
Alternatively, a longer journey directly from the Sea Breeze Archipelago to Feybreak Island is possible, bypassing Fisherman’s Point.
Activities on Feybreak Island in Palworld
The Feybreak update is Palworld's largest expansion to date, more than three times the size of Sakurajima (Summer 2024 release). Be prepared for challenging encounters with high-level pals.
Prioritize activating the Scorched Ashland fast travel point on the island's northern coast. You'll encounter powerful pals and the Feybreak Warriors, a new enemy faction. Unlocking this fast travel point allows for quick returns after death.
Flying mounts are restricted on Feybreak Island. Attempting to fly will trigger an "Entering Anti-Air Zone! Dismount your Pal to avoid being shot down." warning, followed by missile attacks. Ground mounts like the Fenglope are recommended until missile launchers are deactivated.
After exploring, capture new pals or collect resources like Chromalite and Hexolite, crucial for crafting and building. Finally, challenge the Feybreak Tower boss, Bjorn & Bastigor. Unlike other tower bosses, defeating three alpha pals – Dazzy Noct, Caprity Noct, and Omascul – and obtaining their bounty tokens is required before facing the final boss.
