Hand of Wisdom and Action Furtive Wraps are among the rarest and most valuable uniques in Path of Exile 2. Occupying the Gloves slot, these items, often called HoWA, are highly sought after due to their versatility and impact on various builds. Finding a pair can be quite challenging, but with the right approach, you can secure them for your endgame setup.
How to Get Hand of Wisdom and Action Furtive Wraps in PoE 2
The Hand of Wisdom and Action is a Unique Glove that can drop when defeating Xesht, We That Are One, the final Breach boss in the game. Xesht resides in the Twisted Domain, accessible via the Realmgate on the Atlas using a Breachstone. The Realmgate is located near the starting area of the Atlas, so you can easily navigate to it by clicking the home icon.
Alternatively, HoWA can be acquired through the official Path of Exile 2 trading platform, though prices tend to be steep, even for lower-tier versions.
How to Get a Breachstone in PoE 2
There are two primary methods to obtain a Breachstone in Path of Exile 2:
Crafting: Combine 300 Breach Splinters to create a single Breachstone. Breach Splinters drop from Breach map nodes in the Atlas. While these splinters are common, amassing 300 requires clearing numerous Breach maps.
Currency Exchange: Alternatively, you can buy Breach Splinters or Breachstones directly from the in-game Currency Exchange by speaking to Alva. Expect to pay around 50-60 Exalted Orbs per Breachstone, though prices may vary based on market demand.
For optimal rolls, aim for 4% Attack Speed per 25 Dexterity, 1-12 Lightning Damage per 10 Intelligence, and two Rune Socket slots. Achieving this requires using a Vaal Orb on a HoWA.
Can You Use Orb of Chance to Get Hand of Wisdom and Action?
Unfortunately, no—you cannot use an Orb of Chance to attempt acquiring a Hand of Wisdom and Action. Unlike other uniques such as Astramentis, Headhunter, or Polcirkeln, HoWA is a limited drop from Xesht, We That Are One, and is not part of the standard loot table. Therefore, gambling with an Orb of Chance is not an option.
