After months of speculation and leaks, fans have finally been treated to the first glimpse of Pokémon Champions, a groundbreaking multiplayer battle-centric Pokémon game. This exciting new title is the result of a collaboration between Game Freak and The Pokémon Works, a joint venture between The Pokémon Company and ILCA, the developers behind Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl.
Pokémon Champions is set to revolutionize the Pokémon battling experience with its focus on "core-style battles" and robust online multiplayer features. The game's trailer showcased the inclusion of both Mega Evolution and Terastalization, suggesting a comprehensive approach to Pokémon battles across various types and eras.
One of the most anticipated features is the integration with Pokémon Home, which will allow players to transfer Pokémon from other games into Pokémon Champions. This connectivity offers fans a new way to utilize their extensive collections of Pokémon from past generations.
Currently in development for both Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms, Pokémon Champions has yet to receive a release date. However, it will be available in Latin American Spanish at launch, alongside other languages typically supported in Pokémon games.
