Opening a Booster Box is an exhilarating experience with 36 packs to tear through. My highlights included N’s Reshiram Illustration Rare, Iono’s Bellibolt ex Secret Rare, and the Hyper Rare Spiky Energy. While I didn't pull Hop’s Zacian ex or Lillie’s Clefairy ex Special Art Rare, the sheer variety and excitement of opening packs made it a worthwhile endeavor. If you're into pack-opening thrill or expanding your collection significantly, a Booster Box is the way to go.

Elite Trainer Boxes offer a premium experience. The N’s Zorua promo card immediately caught my attention, and the box's design is perfect for card storage. The included sleeves, dice, and condition markers are great for gameplay, and with nine booster packs, I managed to pull Iono’s Kilowattrel Illustration Rare, Articuno Illustration Rare, and a Veluza ex. ETBs provide a balanced mix of pack-opening fun and collectible extras, making them a solid choice for experiencing Journey Together.

Journey Together Build & Battle Box

Build & Battle Boxes offer a unique experience with a prebuilt 40-card deck, allowing immediate play. I pulled Hop’s Snorlax as my promo, an excellent card that boosts all of Hop’s Pokémon attacks by 30 damage. The four packs yielded Mamoswine ex and Swinub Illustration Rare, perfectly complementing my deck's theme. If you're looking to dive right into gameplay with the new set, this is the ideal option.

A basic card that's more of a stepping stone to its evolved form, Zoroark ex. Its 70 HP and 20 damage from Scratch are modest.

Spiky Energy Hyper Rare (190/159)

An essential card that deals 20 damage upon being hit and provides Colorless Energy. A must-have for any deck.

Iono’s Bellibolt ex-Secret Rare (172/159)

A 280 HP Lightning-type powerhouse with Energy acceleration. Its Electric Streamer ability is perfect for Lightning decks, and Thunderous Bolt’s 230 damage is impressive.

Iris’s Fighting Spirit Full Art (180/159)

A draw Supporter that lets you discard one card and draw until you have six. Great for refreshing your hand, especially in decks that benefit from discarding.

Iono’s Kilowattrel Illustration Rare (163/159)

A Lightning-type that refills your hand but requires discarding a Lightning Energy. Its 70 damage from Mach Bolt is average but useful for hand management.

N’s Reshiram Illustration Rare (167/159)

A 130 HP Dragon-type with increasing damage output. Its high-risk, high-reward nature makes it thrilling to play.

Articuno Illustration Rare (161/159)

A Water-type that accelerates two Basic Water Energy onto itself. Ideal for setting up Water decks quickly.

Swinub Illustration Rare (165/159)

Useful for early-game setup, allowing you to search your deck for two Basic Pokémon. Its Lunge Out attack does minimal damage but supports deck-building.

Salamence ex Secret Rare (177/159)

A 320 HP Dragon-type with powerful spread and direct damage attacks. A formidable card for any deck.

Hop’s Zacian ex (111/159)

A Steel-type legendary with a 240-damage attack, though it can't be used consecutively. Great for one-hit knockouts.
