Pokemon TCG Pocket introduces new Chimchar-themed accessories with second part of Wonder Pick event

by Riley Mar 22,2025

The second part of Pokémon TCG Pocket's latest Wonder Pick event is here! Running until February 21st, this event introduces charming new Chimchar-themed accessories and a classic Poké Ball avatar icon. Complete the missions to claim these additions to your collection.

This Wonder Pick event is a Chimchar lover's dream. New items include a Chimchar coin, card sleeve, and a playmat showcasing its evolutions, Monferno and Infernape. Even if fiery monkeys aren't your thing, the new Poké Ball avatar icon might appeal. While perhaps not the most exciting option, a Poké Ball is a staple in any deck, making it a fitting avatar for some players.

The missions are simple: complete six Wonder Picks and collect ten Fire and Psychic-type Pokémon. Each Wonder Pick rewards you with 100 Trade Tokens, while mission completion earns varying amounts of Event Shop Tickets. With enough Wonder Hourglasses, you can quickly complete these tasks. Don't worry if you missed the first part; all those goodies—including a Chimchar backdrop, cover, and Cave of Crystals backdrop—plus the Chimchar and adorable Togepi promo cards, remain available until February 21st.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is free-to-play (with in-app purchases) and available on the App Store and Google Play. Download it now!
