Polytopia

Midjiwan has unleashed a major update for The Battle of Polytopia, completely revamping the Aquarion Tribe. This refresh of the original special tribe, first introduced in 2017, is a significant overhaul.

Aquarion's Aquatic Transformation

The Aquarion units now sport mermaid tails, granting them amphibious capabilities. They move effortlessly across water but are slower on land. This update also introduces flooded terrain, allowing land and naval units to occupy the same space for the first time in the game.

Buildings have also received an aquatic makeover. Construction on water is now possible, with Lost Cities nestled within deep-sea ruins, providing ideal bases for water-based warfare. A new structure, the Atoll, connects water cities, eliminating the need for roads. Aqua Crops are back and permanently integrated into the Aquarion arsenal, functioning similarly to land-based crops.

New Aquatic Creatures Join the Fray

Prepare to encounter new sea creatures! Sharks provide surprise attacks, Puffers offer long-range bombardment, and Jellies unleash electric shocks on enemies. Returning favorites include the Tridentions and Crabs, the latter now flooding tiles they traverse, synergizing perfectly with the mermaid-tailed troops. See it in action!

Dive into the Updated Aquarion Tribe

Midjiwan has revitalized the Aquarion Tribe. Note that Lost Cities appear at level 3 and include a pre-built wall.
