Hunting behemoths isn't the only way to enjoy Monster Hunter Wilds. For those seeking the "A Prize Held High" trophy or achievement, the key isn't a fearsome dragon, but the surprisingly elusive Curioshell Crab. This little crustacean can be captured using your trusty Capture Net.
While Curioshell Crabs can appear across various maps, the Scarlet Forest offers a reliable hunting ground. Head to Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp (located between Areas 2 and 6). Near the water puddle in this area, you'll often find them. If you're having trouble spotting it, keep an eye out for Alma's prompt about a creature holding something – that's your cue!
Equip your Capture Net, aim for an orange reticle, and snag the crab. A successful capture will reward you with not only the Curioshell Crab but also an Ancient Wyvern Coin. Remember, these crabs are quick, so anticipate their movements for a clean capture. Area 13 of the Windward Plains and Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest also offer increased chances of finding them, though they can potentially spawn elsewhere.
That's all you need to know about obtaining the "A Prize Held High" trophy/achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds. For more gaming guides and news, check out The Escapist.
