PS5 owners will be able to play both Gran Turismo and Forza Horizon

The long-standing console wars and the exclusivity of major titles have fueled countless debates. A central question has always been: Forza (Xbox) or Gran Turismo (PlayStation)? Owning both consoles wasn't feasible for many, but that's changing. PlayStation gamers can finally settle the debate for themselves.

Forza Horizon 5 is arriving on PS5. The official announcement appeared on social media, and a dedicated PlayStation Store page confirms its release. The wait won't be long; a Spring 2025 launch is anticipated, though a precise date remains unannounced.

Panic Button is handling the PS5 port, with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games providing support. The PS5 version will offer equivalent content to other platforms and participate in cross-platform play.

Furthermore, a free content update, "Horizon Realms," is in development for all platforms. Horizon Festival participants will explore a curated selection of beloved locations from past "Evolving Worlds" updates, along with some exciting surprises.
