Millennium Media, the powerhouse behind hits like the Expendables and Has Fallen series, previously brought us 2008's Rambo and 2019's Rambo: Last Blood. This new venture, "John Rambo," promises to delve into the Vietnam War era, serving as a prequel to the 1982 classic First Blood. While plot details remain under wraps, the film aims to explore the early days of the legendary character.
As of now, no casting has been finalized, and original Rambo star Sylvester Stallone is aware of the project but not involved at this stage. The screenplay for "John Rambo" is penned by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani, the duo behind The Mauritanian and Black Adam. Production is slated to kick off in Thailand in October.
