Bluepoch Games' time-travel RPG, Reverse: 1999, celebrates its first anniversary with a massive Version 1.9 update, "Vereinsamt." This update offers a wealth of new content, including new characters, game modes, and collaborations.
"Vereinsamt," meaning "lonely" in German, fittingly sets the stage for the anniversary festivities. The celebration begins with a generous gift: logging in during the event period grants players the 6-star character Semmelweis and 30 free pulls.
A new limited-time banner, "Thoughts in Cylinder," introduces Lucy, a 6-star DPS character. Inspired by Metropolis, Lucy, despite her robotic appearance, is an Awakened arcanist with a connection to a Watt steam engine prototype and a passion for scientific advancement.
Returning characters include the 5-star Matilda and Kakania (first seen in Version 1.7), summonable in the "Observation into the Mirrors" banner starting October 10th.
Beyond characters, Version 1.9 introduces a new rogue-like mode, "A Series of Dusks," offering players the chance to acquire the new 5-star character, Lorelei, and other rewards. Collaborations with Discovery (providing new outfits for Tooth Fairy and Getian) and KOI (releasing special merchandise in October) add further excitement.
This update marks the debut of the game's first unique garment, the "Take Off! To the Future" outfit for Regulus, complete with new Ultimates and additional features. New outfits are also coming for Jessica, Voyager, and Sonetto.
