This brief yet intriguing romance occurs during a bustling part of the game, making it easy to miss. In this guide, we'll walk you through where to find Naoise and how to successfully romance her in Baldur's Gate 3.
Where to Find Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3
Visit Sharess' Caress in Act III:
To meet and romance Naoise, you need to reach the early stages of Act III. As you journey towards Baldur's Gate, you'll pass through Wyrm's Crossing. On your first visit, you'll need to meet Raphael at Sharess' Caress, a local brothel located on the eastern side of the bridge leading into the city.
If you've already explored Wyrm's Crossing, you can fast-travel to the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing, which will take you directly to the front porch of Sharess' Caress.
Look for Nymph's Grotto:
Naoise can be found in the Nymph's Grotto, a special chamber on the second floor. To reach it, pass through the door to the outside area. The correct door is marked by a green light and ivy on the walls. It's locked but can be easily opened with a lock-picking roll of 10 or higher.
How to Romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3
Interact with Naoise:
Upon entering the Nymph's Grotto, approach the bed where you'll find Naoise with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier, in an intimate moment. Jara will be displeased with your interruption, but as she speaks, a tadpole in her head interacts with yours. She confronts you about this, leading to several dialogue options. We recommend choosing:
- "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken."
Jara will mention the Absolute and then transform into a Mindflayer. You must defeat her to proceed. After defeating Jara, Naoise will turn her attention to you, expressing an interest in Mindflayers. You can respond with:
- "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset."
An Insight check will reveal Naoise's readiness for romance. Our next response was:
- "That creature aroused you, didn't it?"
Avoid judgmental responses. Naoise will mention her anticipation for the Mindflayer but suggest another 'flavor' might suffice. Choose the following options to lead to the romance scene:
- "What did you have in mind?"
- "Close your eyes and listen."
This encounter unfolds entirely in your mind. Naoise will ask you to choose 'what you will be,' offering options like Revered, Contented, Powerful, Rich, or to end the encounter. We chose Contented, leading to a brief romance scene. After the encounter, Naoise will have no further interest in you, stating she can offer 'rapture' only once.
Even if your character is in a relationship with another character like Karlach, this encounter won't affect your existing relationships. Shadowheart will award you the 'Carnal Rituals of Sharess' inspiration point after the encounter.
Upon successfully romancing Naoise, you'll receive the Rapture boon, granting a passive 1d6 bonus to nearly all ability checks.
