Rumor: Zenless Zone Zero Leak Teases New Permanent Mode Coming in Version 1.5

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5: Leaked Bangboo Dress-Up Event to Become Permanent Game Mode

New leaks suggest a permanent dress-up game mode is coming to Zenless Zone Zero in Version 1.5, scheduled for January 22nd. This mode, revealed as a "Bangboo Beauty Contest," will allow players to customize outfits for the game's mascot, Eous.

Version 1.4 introduced new S-Rank characters and permanent combat-focused game modes. However, this upcoming update appears to add a non-combat, customization-focused mode, a departure from the core action RPG gameplay. Reliable leaker, Flying Flame, showcased screenshots of the event, highlighting various clothing items for Eous.

While the dress-up mode will become permanent, event-specific rewards will be time-limited. Rumors suggest this event may also introduce a long-awaited skin for Nicole Demara.

Beyond the dress-up event, other leaks hint at a temporary platformer game mode. This follows HoYoverse's trend of incorporating non-combat, persistent modes in other titles like Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact.

Version 1.5 is also confirmed to introduce new S-Rank characters, Astra Yao and Evelyn, along with a new area and main story chapter. Further details are expected soon.
