Vampire Survivors has just released a thrilling new free DLC, the Emerald Diorama, marking the game's most significant update to date. This DLC introduces an exciting crossover with Square Enix’s renowned fantasy RPG series, SaGa, bringing JRPG vibes into the mix.
Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors
The Emerald Diorama DLC enhances the gameplay with a new stage that feels like a mini world map, complete with world-hopping elements. Players can explore over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to those who sing cursed songs. The update also introduces more than 16 new weapons and a novel Glimmer system, allowing players to randomly acquire new skills during runs. Additionally, nine new music tracks enrich the auditory experience.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, head to Moongolow and engage with a new merchant. Purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, and progressively unlock the content from there. Moreover, the DLC includes two new Adventures, which are mini-campaigns with six chapters each. "To End an Ice Age" is tailored for the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" adds more content to the new DLC.
Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update
Simultaneously, the base game has received another free update named The Coop, centered around chickens. This update introduces a new chicken character called Gazebo, along with a new weapon and a relic that accelerates gameplay. Players can earn numerous achievements and unlock Darkana by collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens, fully unlocking The Coop's potential.
Here’s a handy tip: When playing The Coop, refrain from killing anything for the first minute to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it with Parm Aegis will further unlock Gazebo.
