A 2026 Release
Housemarque's Saros, debuting at the February 2025 State of Play, is slated for release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro in 2026. Building upon the exhilarating gameplay of Returnal, this new IP will feature evolving mechanics and storytelling. The game stars Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.
Rise to the Challenge
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand independently and establish a new franchise. While Returnal offered a dynamic roguelike experience, Saros will introduce persistent character progression, allowing players to enhance their weapons and suits, embodying the core concept of "Come Back Stronger." This will enable players to overcome challenges and ultimately prevail.
