Squad Busters is expanding its horizons with an exciting new collaboration, and this one delivers a genuine surprise for players. Sega's iconic Sonic the Hedgehog will join Squad Busters on June 17th as the latest hero, with Tails and Knuckles appearing as new Squad members.
True to his character, Sonic brings his signature speed and can activate his Super Sonic form for temporary invincibility. Using Turbo replenishes this ability, and Sonic enhances Speedster Squad members by amplifying their capabilities.
He's naturally accompanied by Tails and Knuckles. Tails pilots his Cyclone Walker armed with a powerful laser cannon, while Knuckles excels at destruction - burrowing underground to avoid attacks before emerging beneath enemies to strike.
Time to speed through the action!
To unlock the trio, participate in the new event starting June 17th and collect rings from battles, the shop, and daily rewards. These rings will first unlock Sonic, whose Hero Journey then provides additional rings to obtain Knuckles and Tails - each character features their own evolution path.
No Sonic appearance would be complete without his arch-nemesis. Dr. Eggman appears in the new "Dr. Eggman Attacks" game modifier, which not only increases ring rewards but also features Eggman patrolling the map in his Egg Mobile, engaging heroes in combat and even transforming into the formidable Death Egg Robot.
