Sonic Racing releases new update featuring more characters and community challenges

by Christopher Jan 22,2025

Sonic Racing's latest Apple Arcade update revs up the action with new community challenges, characters, and cosmetics! Team up globally to conquer objectives and unlock exclusive rewards.

Two new racers join the fray: Popstar Amy, obtainable through time trials, and Idol Shadow, earned by participating in community challenges. They join Rockstar Rouge and DJ Vector, expanding the already impressive roster of Sonic characters.

ytExperience the fast-paced racing inspired by Team Sonic Racing, featuring 15 playable Sonic characters, time trials, team combos, and 15 diverse tracks across five unique zones.

This update arrives amidst a wave of Sonic franchise success, including Sonic Prime season three, the Knuckles show, Sonic X: Shadow Generations, and the upcoming Sonic 3 movie. With 2024 declared the "Year of Shadow," Idol Shadow's inclusion in Sonic Racing is perfectly timed.
