Who Are the New Year Special Champions in Marvel Contest of Champions?
The two new Champions hail straight from Wakanda. On January 16th, you'll have the chance to recruit Okoye, the formidable General of the Dora Milaje. Known for her unmatched skill and wisdom, she's been the protector of Wakandan royalty for years.
Then, on January 30th, Gentle, a mutant with a tragic past, steps into the arena. Nezhno Abidemi can enhance his strength with Vibranium tattoos, making him a force to be reckoned with. With these two additions, your roster will be more stacked than ever, joining over 280 existing Champions.
Gentle's storyline involves a stealth mission to uncover the mystery behind the sudden disintegration of Vibranium. Meanwhile, Okoye is on a mission to confront the Deathless and thwart dark doppelgangers who have stolen Wakandan artefacts for a sinister ritual.
During the Death Drive Event, you can earn Kimoyo Beads to track down these stolen artefacts and unlock paths in the Vault of Strength, Vault of Violence, Vault of Conviction, and Vault of Rage. Each vault is brimming with rewards waiting to be claimed.
