Stalker 2: How To Get The Unique Cavalier Rifle

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl boasts a diverse arsenal, letting players tailor their loadout to their preferred combat style. Beyond standard firearms, unique weapons with enhanced stats and modifications are scattered throughout the game. The Cavalier sniper rifle is one such prize. This unique weapon features a red-dot sight instead of a traditional scope, making it highly effective at close to medium ranges. Here's how to acquire it.

Acquiring the Cavalier Sniper Rifle

The Cavalier is located within the Duga base, specifically in a warehouse adjacent to a greenhouse near the Military Unit. You might already be familiar with this area if you've previously retrieved the Journalist's stash. Entering via the secondary entrance will provide easy access.

Locating the Warehouse

Upon entering Duga, proceed towards the Military Unit building (marked on your map). You don't need to enter the building itself; instead, circumnavigate it to reach the greenhouse at the rear. Be wary of two Pseudogiants patrolling the area; they'll attack on sight. Approach the greenhouse cautiously to avoid an unnecessary confrontation.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll find yourself in the warehouse. Prepare for a swarm of rats upon entry; they'll inflict damage quickly. Utilize the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse for cover. A grenade is recommended to swiftly eliminate the rodent infestation.

Retrieving the Rifle

After clearing the rats, examine the warehouse ceiling above the greenhouse entrance. You'll notice yellow-painted wooden boards. Shoot these boards with your weapon to dislodge the Cavalier sniper rifle.

After acquiring the Cavalier, you can further enhance its capabilities by visiting Screw, the technician at Rostok base. The rifle boasts high damage and accuracy, further improved with upgrades and modifications. For players preferring red-dot sights over scopes on their sniper rifles, the Cavalier offers a compelling alternative for close-to-medium range engagements.
