Starscream Joins Mob Control's Transformer Update as New Champion

by Natalie Apr 05,2025

The Transformers x Mob Control crossover continues to expand, bringing the latest champion, Starscream, to the strategy game developed by Voodoo and Hasbro. Following the introduction of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron, Starscream joins as the fourth playable Transformers character, enhancing the Echoes from Cybertron story mode.

This new addition is featured in Mob Control's latest episode, "Starscream’s Masterplan," where players can delve deeper into Starscream's character through a new storyline. Starscream's ability to seamlessly switch between his robot and jet forms offers a unique combat style. In robot form, he wields his iconic null-ray cannons for ranged attacks, stunning enemy champions and creating tactical advantages. When switched to jet form, Starscream unleashes a high-speed missile barrage before returning to his starting position, though this move has a cooldown that players must manage strategically.

The episode introduces seven new levels, culminating in a challenging three-round boss fight that tests players' skills. To participate, players must collect Energon from chests during regular gameplay. Completing the episode rewards players with blueprints needed to unlock Starscream in the Armory, with additional blueprints available through the Transformers Season.

For those looking for competitive play, the Transformers League provides a platform to showcase skills. This leaderboard tracks progress as players replay levels, rewarding points for completed tiers and looted bricks. The leaderboard resets every two weeks, encouraging quick and strategic gameplay to reach the top.
