RuneScape has just released an exciting Dev's Diary for April, unveiling the details of the latest update titled "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly." This thrilling new quest is now available and will run until April 28th. Players are tasked with surviving the perilous Shifting Tombs and altering the fate of the desert alongside familiar characters Leela and Ozan.
The Full Scoop on Pharaoh's Folly in RuneScape
The situation in the Kharidian desert is heating up, with Menaphos descending into chaos. After Osman's shocking betrayal against his own people, the city is teetering on the brink of collapse. The populace is divided, and the ominous presence of Amascut looms in the shadows, setting the stage for even greater dangers beyond the Shifting Tombs.
You won't be facing these challenges alone. With Leela by your side and new allies, including some adorable pets, you'll delve into the ancient secrets of Menaphos. Your mission? Uncover the true intentions behind Osman's actions and strive to restore order to the city.
Heading Back into the Heat Again
Completing the Pharaoh's Folly quest comes with rewarding perks. Players can earn Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and a new item, Leela's Favour bracelet. This bracelet offers the convenience of teleporting across all districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the Shifting Tombs, and active soul obelisks.
However, embarking on this quest isn't for the faint-hearted or the unprepared. Participants need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the "Beneath Scabaras' Sands" quest, and several achievements from the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club. Additionally, players must have advanced their Fort Forinthry storyline to the right stage. Once these criteria are met, you can meet Leela outside Menaphos' gates and begin your mission to save the city. Ready to dive in?
