Hazelight Studios is set to thrill fans with a new two-player cooperative adventure that promises to surpass their previous efforts. The developers have teased captivating settings, a profound narrative, and an abundance of tasks designed to enhance player immersion. In addition to the main storyline, players will delve into side stories packed with surprises. These side quests not only introduce new areas to explore but also offer unique activities, enriching the world of Split Fiction and giving players even more reasons to dive deep into the game's universe.
Anticipation is building among fans, who are already hailing this project as one of the most eagerly awaited co-op games of the year.
Three years following the debut of It Takes Two, Hazelight Studios released a significant update for their cooperative adventure in May. The full list of changes was shared on Steam by the developers, showcasing their focus on catering to the core Steam audience. A notable shift is that the game no longer requires the EA launcher to run and is now fully optimized for the Steam Deck.
Players can now easily invite their Steam friends to join the fun. Moreover, Steam Family Sharing is now fully supported. The developers have clarified that while an EA account is still needed to connect to EA servers, it is no longer necessary for local play through Steam Remote Play.
