"Ted Lasso Season 4 Confirmed by Jason Sudeikis"

by Harper May 06,2025

Exciting news for fans of the heartwarming series, *Ted Lasso*: Season 4 is officially in the works, as announced by the show's star and producer, Jason Sudeikis. This update came during a chat on the *New Heights* sports podcast hosted by Jason and Travis Kelce. In the latest episode, the NFL brothers eagerly sought an update on the series following the conclusion of Season 3 in the summer of 2023.

Sudeikis shared, “That’s what we’re writing. We’re writing Season 4 now. That’s the official word, yeah. Ted’s coaching a women’s team.” This revelation has sparked joy among fans who have been yearning for more of the feel-good soccer series. Although it's unclear if Season 4 will be the final chapter or where the story will unfold, Sudeikis humorously dodged further inquiries from Travis Kelce about whether Ted would return to the U.S., saying, “Yeah, that’s too many questions, and that’s only because I don’t know.”

According to *Deadline*, Juno Temple, who plays Keeley, is in negotiations to reprise her role, while Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift are confirmed to return as Rebecca, Roy, and Leslie, respectively. The first episode of the new season is expected to be filmed in Kansas City before Ted heads back to the UK, with production slated to start in July.

Apple TV+ is already gearing up to bring *Ted Lasso* back into the spotlight. Although no specific release date or plot details have been revealed, the show’s official X/Twitter account playfully acknowledged its long hiatus with a post saying, “Finally found the dang password to this thing. Sorry y’all. What’d I miss?”

The last significant update on *Ted Lasso* came in the summer of 2024 when *Deadline* reported that Season 4 was nearing greenlight status.
