Terminator 2D: NO FATE Announced – A New Game Set in the Terminator Universe

Studio Bitmap Bureau is bringing a retro-style side-scrolling beat 'em up based on the iconic film Terminator 2: Judgment Day. While inspired by the movie's plot, the game promises original storylines and multiple endings, ensuring a fresh take on the familiar narrative. Key scenes from the film, however, will remain faithfully recreated.

Players will take control of the T-800, Sarah Connor, and the now-adult John Connor, each offering a unique gameplay experience. As the T-800 and Sarah Connor, players will face off against the relentless T-1000, while John Connor will lead the resistance against the machines.

The trailer features the instantly recognizable Terminator 2 theme music and iconic moments reimagined in stunning pixel art. Beyond the main story, several arcade modes will offer additional challenges and replayability.

Prepare for battle! Terminator 2 side-scroller launches September 5th, 2025, on all current-gen consoles and PC.
