Thirsty Suitors is coming soon to mobile via Netflix Games

by Dylan Feb 08,2025

Netflix Games is soon adding the narrative-driven action-adventure title, Thirsty Suitors, to its platform. Currently available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Steam, this unique breakup simulator blends turn-based combat with skateboarding and cooking.

Developed by Outerloop Games, Thirsty Suitors is a critically acclaimed title, having won the 2022 Tribeca Games Awards and receiving nominations for prestigious awards such as the 2024 New York Game Awards and the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards.

Set in the 1990s, the game explores themes of culture, relationships, and self-discovery. Players battle exes using a turn-based RPG combat system incorporating a mood mechanic to exploit weaknesses. Beyond combat, players can showcase their culinary skills by preparing South Asian-inspired meals to mend relationships, and their skateboarding prowess by traversing the town of Timber Hills, performing tricks like grinds and wall runs within Bearfoot Park.
