The evolution mechanic fundamentally changes the dragon's combat effectiveness by maintaining its accumulated damage when switching targets, unlike its basic version that resets with each new enemy.
Inferno Dragon Evolution Debuts in New Season
The "How to Evolve Your Dragon!" season introduces this powerful upgrade alongside the return of 2v2 League battles. Players can team up to climb the competitive ladder while enjoying various in-game events.
From June through early July, multiple limited-time game modes will spotlight evolution mechanics, including:
- Evolution Draft (June 2-9)
- Special Challenge (June 6-9)
- Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) with 4 evolution cards per deck
- Magical Trio (June 16-23)
- 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30)
- Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) featuring 8 evolution cards per deck
The season offers numerous rewards including Evolution Shards, Epic Books of Cards, and exclusive cosmetic items through Crown Chase events and Milestone challenges starting at Arena 7.
