Renowned insider Tom Henderson has shed light on the reasons behind the game's delay to 2025. The postponement aims to address historical and cultural inaccuracies and enhance the overall polish of the game. Despite circulating rumors, Yasuke will not be removed from the narrative; however, Ubisoft plans to make adjustments to his storyline to ensure accuracy and depth.

The challenges faced by Assassin's Creed Shadows are multifaceted. Historical experts were consulted later in the development process than ideal, and there were significant communication issues among the team. From a technical standpoint, the game is not yet ready for release. The developers are diligently working on bug fixes and gameplay enhancements, though some changes will require more time to implement. Henderson's sources are confident that despite these hurdles, Assassin's Creed Shadows will be ready for release on February 14, 2025, giving the team sufficient time to refine the game to its full potential.
