Mastering Camo Challenges in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies
The pursuit of camos is a core element of the yearly Call of Duty experience, and Black Ops 6 Zombies continues this tradition. This guide details every camo challenge within the game's Zombies mode.
Unlocking Mastery Camos in Black Ops 6 Zombies
Camo progression in Black Ops 6 Zombies differs from recent Call of Duty titles. It combines classic headshot-based camo grinding (reminiscent of the Xbox 360 era) with the base camo system from Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3.
Players must achieve specific kill milestones with each weapon (varying by weapon class) to unlock nine "Military Camos." These must be earned individually for every weapon. Unlocking all Military Camos for a weapon then unlocks unique Special Camo challenges. These Special Camos (two per weapon) can be completed in any order, and once earned, their designs can be applied to any weapon with all Military Camos unlocked. Completing the Special Camos unlocks the first Mastery Camo challenge, leading to the Mystic Gold camo.
To unlock Opal Camo challenges, players need to complete Mystic Gold challenges for a set number of weapons within each class. Subsequently, the Opal Camo challenge must be completed for 33 weapons to unlock the Afterlife Camo challenges and, finally, the Nebula Camo challenges. Remember, Mastery Camos are weapon-specific; they don't apply universally.

Assault Rifle Camo Challenges
Each Assault Rifle requires Critical Kills and completion of two Special Camo challenges and subsequent Mastery Camo challenges:
