Jingle Hells in Black Ops 6 Zombies: Weapon Upgrades, Ammo Mods, and Support

The festive Jingle Hells mode in Black Ops 6 Zombies offers a holiday-themed twist on Liberty Falls, but also alters weapon progression and upgrade mechanics. This guide details how to upgrade weapons and acquire Ammo Mods and Support items.

Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells

Unlike the standard Black Ops 6 Zombies experience, the Arsenal Machine is absent from Jingle Hells. Weapon upgrades are achieved using Aether Tools, consumable items with varying rarity tiers (color-coded). Using a higher-tier Aether Tool (e.g., Purple/Legendary) upgrades your weapon to that rarity level. Aether Tools can be obtained in several ways:

  • Church Spire Easter Egg: Throw a grenade at the zombie head atop the church spire. The resulting zombie drop contains loot, including a chance at an Aether Tool. Higher round numbers increase the likelihood of higher-rarity Aether Tools.
  • Bank Vault Safety Deposit Boxes: Loot Keys unlock safety deposit boxes within the Bank Vault, offering a chance at Aether Tools of varying rarities.
  • S.A.M. Trials: Completing S.A.M. Trials, particularly at higher reward tiers, can yield Aether Tools.
  • Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrade your weapon to Legendary rarity.
  • Mystery Box, Wall Buys, and Holiday Presents: Weapons obtained from these sources increase in rarity as the round progresses.

Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells

Currently, the only available Ammo Mod in Jingle Hells is Cryo Freeze. This consumable is primarily found within Holiday Presents, which drop randomly upon enemy kills, from the Naughty or Nice power-up, and from the S.A.M. Machine. Higher rounds generally yield higher-rarity rewards from Holiday Presents. The "Nice" outcome from the Naughty or Nice power-up provides multiple Holiday Presents, while "Naughty" spawns numerous vermin enemies.

Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells

The Workbench is also absent in Jingle Hells, meaning Salvage cannot be used to craft equipment or Support items like Chopper Gunners, Mutant Injections, or Self Revives. However, these items can still be obtained through various means:

  • Enemy Kills: Equipment and Support items may drop as loot from regular, Special, and Elite enemies.
  • Holiday Presents: These can contain equipment and Support.
  • S.A.M. Trials: These trials offer a chance to reward equipment and Support.
  • Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: These boxes have a chance to contain equipment and Support.
