Wicked Genshin Impact bug allows you to deal terrible, terrible damage to bosses

Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. This unexpected strategy utilizes the Hydro Traveler, often considered a weak DPS character, to dramatically reduce enemy health.

The method is deceptively simple. By strategically placing a large number of Xiao Lanterns (obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival) near a boss, and then activating the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst, players can inflict massive AoE damage. The interaction between the Burst and the lanterns results in damage scaling into the millions with a sufficient number of lanterns.

This exploit, likely to be patched in a future update, currently provides a remarkably easy way to overcome challenging boss encounters. While the precise mechanics remain unexplained without delving into the game's code, the effectiveness is undeniable.
