Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Release Date Announced with Pre-Order Bonus

by Thomas May 16,2025

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is set to launch on July 24, 2025, across multiple platforms including PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Excitingly, Microsoft is bringing it to Game Pass day one for those subscribed to the Ultimate tier, offering immediate access to this highly anticipated game.

For those eager to dive in early, pre-ordering the game will grant you the exclusive Night & White Pack. This pack includes two stunning costume sets — Night Spectre and White Spectre — along with the Vermillion War Club axe and the Glistening Red Mercury Skill Upgrade, enhancing your gameplay from the start.

Developer Leenzee Games has announced that Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will be available in both a standard and a deluxe edition. The deluxe edition not only includes the base game but also comes packed with additional content: four unique costumes, each consisting of five costume pieces, four distinct weapons, and one Skill Upgrade item.

Set in the land of Shu during the dark and tumultuous late Ming Dynasty, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a Soulslike action-RPG where you take on the role of a mysterious warrior battling a horrific feather disease. As you uncover hidden secrets and face supernatural enemies, you'll navigate an ancient empire on the brink of collapse.

Our first hands-on preview of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers earlier this year left us impressed. We noted, "I only caught a small glimpse at Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, but I already feel pretty good about its chances at being more than just another soulslike to add to the ridiculously overflowing pile. The movesets are intricate and interesting, the RPG mechanics seem deep and offer a lot of freedom (even if I can’t claim to understand some of them fully), and the boss fights gave me a serious run for my money that’s rare these days. All that’s already got me pretty excited to play more."
