Escape Academy May Be Leaving Xbox Game Pass, But It Will Be Free Tomorrow
Game removal times on Microsoft's subscription service vary, but most titles are taken down near the end of their scheduled departure day. As of this writing, U.S. Xbox Game Pass subscribers have approximately 18 hours left to try these soon-to-be-removed games. That's ample time to complete Figment: Journey Into the Mind or Those Who Remain. The same applies to Escape Academy, though console gamers should act quickly. PC players, however, can claim Escape Academy for free on the Epic Games Store starting tomorrow, January 16.
The next round of Xbox Game Pass removals is expected on January 31. The titles leaving at month's end should be announced alongside the Wave 2 lineup for January 2025. This batch already includes four day-one releases scheduled to join Microsoft's subscription service in the last 11 days of the month: Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector.
