HoYoverse has officially announced the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to roll out on April 23rd. This update marks the culmination of Season 1, promising to unravel the mysteries and tensions that have been building up.
What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?
In this update, the long-standing enigma of the Sacrifice crisis will finally be laid bare. Players, as Proxies, will delve deeper into Vivian’s intricate backstory and discover the truth about Hugo's fate after his dramatic plunge into the Hollow. The escalating conflict between Mockingbird and TOPS has reached new heights, prompting the Mayor to send a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to intervene.
Together with Vivian, Proxies will venture into hostile territory to pursue the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's unresolved past comes to the forefront as she confronts old adversaries, while the Exaltists’ conspiracy begins to unravel, offering players thrilling narrative developments.

Here’s the Character Lineup
Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, elegantly wields a parasol and rapier, excelling at dealing Corruption damage, especially when combined with other characters' EX Special Attacks. Hugo, the second new addition, is an Ice Attack Agent who transforms his suitcase into a deadly scythe. His Totalize effect amplifies damage against stunned enemies, scaling based on the remaining stun duration.
Joining them is Robin, Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner, who uses cards with random effects to support the team. Additionally, Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent, will make a return in Version 1.7’s banners, giving players another chance to add these powerful characters to their roster.
The update also introduces exciting new events, such as 'Say It With Flowers,' where players can manage a flower shop, fulfill design requests, and create floral arrangements for customers. Completing these commissions will unlock a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
