Clash of Clans Is Going to Make Big Changes with Its March 2025 Update

Clash of Clans is set to roll out a groundbreaking update in March 2025, responding to long-standing player requests. This update promises to be one of the most transformative in the game's history, introducing changes that will eliminate several features soon.

No Troop, Spell or Siege Machine Training Time!

Imagine launching back-to-back attacks without any wait time. The upcoming update will make this a reality by removing training times for troops, spells, and siege machines. Additionally, hero recovery times are being eliminated, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. This exciting change applies to players in the Titan League and below, although the Legend League will maintain its current eight-battle limit per day.

This shift aligns with Clash of Clans' ongoing efforts to streamline gameplay by removing outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training times in 2025 will further enhance the player experience, allowing for uninterrupted gameplay without artificial barriers.

As part of these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will become obsolete and will be phased out. They will be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining items in player inventories will be converted into Gems.

There’s a New Match Anytime System!

To enhance multiplayer engagement, Clash of Clans is introducing the Match Anytime system. When there aren't enough real bases available for attack, this system will let you battle against snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases that are under Shield. These battles will function similarly to regular ones, allowing you to earn loot and trophies, but the defender won't lose anything. This feature, already successful in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.

In response to the increased number of battles per session, adjustments are being made to Trophy Curves, with reduced trophies awarded for victories. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers will be standardized to 10 minutes for all players.

Get ready for these changes by checking out Clash of Clans on the Google Play Store and preparing your strategies accordingly.
