Amazon Slashes Prices on GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gaming PCs

by Hazel Jul 24,2025

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti launched in late February at a base price of $749.99, but securing one at that MSRP is nearly impossible. Like the rest of the Blackwell series, widespread price inflation has taken hold—both resellers and manufacturers are charging well above retail. In practice, finding an RTX 5070 Ti for under $1,000 is a tall order.

There is, however, a smarter workaround: opting for a prebuilt gaming PC. Amazon currently lists CyberpowerPC desktops equipped with the RTX 5070 Ti starting at $2,069.99. That’s a solid value, especially when you consider the RTX 5070 Ti delivers performance on par with the RTX 4080 Super—even before factoring in DLSS 4. For comparison, the best available RTX 4080 Super prebuilt we’ve found is an HP Omen model priced at $2,299.99. Unless brand loyalty sways you, going with a CyberpowerPC RTX 5070 Ti system offers better bang for your buck.

My top pick from the lineup is the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme featuring the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB RAM, and a 2TB SSD. As noted in our Ryzen 7 9800X3D review by Jackie Thomas, “the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is extremely powerful in games, making it easier to recommend than recent alternatives like the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K or Ryzen 9 9900X. Especially when paired with a high-end GPU, the 9800X3D is the optimal choice for maximum performance.”

Among the Blackwell GPUs released so far, the RTX 5070 Ti stands out as the best value. It matches the RTX 4080 Super in performance while outperforming the more expensive RTX 5080 by a narrow margin—despite the latter costing 33% more. The RTX 5070 Ti handles 4K gaming with ease, even with ray tracing enabled, and maintains high frame rates across demanding titles. For AI workloads, it’s also a compelling option: with 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM (shared with the RTX 5080), it offers excellent performance per dollar.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU Review by Jacqueline Thomas
"At $749, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is the best 4K graphics card for most users, offering far greater value than the RTX 5080 or 5090. In my full benchmark suite, this GPU excelled at 4K, performing close to significantly pricier models—and that’s before enabling multi-frame generation, which further boosts frame rates, albeit with a slight latency trade-off."

Alternative: HP Omen 45L RTX 4080 Super PC for $2,299.99

$2,999.99 → $2,299.99 (23% off) at HP

HP is offering a major discount on its powerful Omen 45L desktop, equipped with an Intel Core i7-14700K and RTX 4080 Super, now priced at $2,299.99 after a $700 instant savings. This is one of HP’s top-tier gaming rigs, capable of running any modern title at 4K. Performance-wise, it's nearly identical to the RTX 5070 Ti and about 10% slower than the RTX 5080. It features the same 16GB VRAM, though it uses GDDR6 instead of GDDR7.
