Over a month since its release, Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) continues to evolve with Ubisoft's commitment to enhancing the game. On May 1st, Ubisoft took to Twitter (now known as X) to share their year 1 post-launch roadmap, which promises new story and gameplay elements that will keep the adventure alive and thrilling.
A highlight of the roadmap is the introduction of multiple Story Drops, which are free content additions designed to enrich the gaming experience. According to Ubisoft, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."
Moreover, Ubisoft reminds fans about their upcoming first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, slated for release later this year. This DLC will transport players to the new region of Awaji Island, available to explore post-epilogue of the main game. The expansion promises new enemies, new abilities for both protagonists, and an exclusive weapon for Naoe.
