"Brewing Coffee at Wanderstop: A Guide"

by Camila May 19,2025

In Ivy Road and Annapurna Interactive's *Wanderstop*, players step into the shoes of Alta, a former fighter seeking rest and recovery, as she manages a cozy tea shop nestled in a magical forest. The diverse clientele, drawn to the forest's charm, often requests various beverages, including the non-standard offering of coffee. Here's a detailed guide on how to unlock and brew coffee in *Wanderstop*.

Which Customers Want Coffee in Wanderstop?

During the fourth cycle of *Wanderstop*, a humanoid bird arrives and requests a refined cup of tea. Following this, a group of businessmen named Jerry, Larry, and Terry enter the shop. Dressed in suits and ties with nondescript briefcases, they are en route to a boardroom for a presentation. Despite Alta informing them they're off-course and offering tea, they decline, insisting on coffee. Instead of leaving upon learning the shop doesn't serve coffee, they decide to wait until it's available.

Boro, the tea shop owner, explains that coffee has never grown in this forest, initially suggesting Alta might never fulfill the businessmen's request. However, the arrival of an interdimensional figure named Zenith changes the scenario. Zenith, fascinated by the businessmen, agrees to try Alta's tea. Having only known coffee as a beverage made with hot water, Zenith's experience with tea is novel.

How to Unlock Coffee Beans in Wanderstop

To unlock coffee beans, serve Zenith a cup of tea infused with something valuable, such as a book, trinket, pot, mug, small plant, or photograph. After tasting the unique tea, Zenith, curious about the distinction between tea and coffee, asks Alta about brewing coffee. Alta mentions "coffee beans," prompting Zenith to use the Infinite Path to introduce coffee beans to the forest. They provide instructions on harvesting and brewing in Alta's Field Guide.

How to Harvest and Brew Coffee in Wanderstop

Once introduced by Zenith, coffee beans grow wild in the clearing and respawn randomly. Harvest them similarly to fruits and seeds, and store them in your ingredients pocket or carry them by hand. You can also place them on shelves, tables, floors, or the ground outside.

Before brewing, clean the beans in the dishwasher, which will then be transported by dish trains to the tea room. To brew coffee, pour water into the tea maker, heat it (or not, depending on the order), and activate the gear to pour water into the infuser. Only one bean is needed to brew coffee, though customers might request additional beans or other ingredients. After brewing, kick the gear again to pour the coffee into the kettle and then into mugs for serving to customers, Boro, or Alta.

Serving coffee not only satisfies the businessmen but also delights Zenith and provides a new option for other customers. Even Boro is willing to try it, though he admits it's not to his taste.

That's how you unlock, harvest, and brew coffee in *Wanderstop*.

*Wanderstop is available for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam.*
