Known Habitats: Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, and Ruins of Wyveria
Breakable Parts: Tail and Forelegs
Recommended Elemental Attack: Fire and Lightning
Effective Status Effects: Poison (2x), Sleep (2x), Paralysis (2x), Blastblight (2x), Stun (2x), Exhaust (2x)
Effective Items: Flash Pod, Shock Trap, Pitfall Trap

Use Flash Pod

Despite its hefty build, the Doshaguma is surprisingly nimble, capable of leaping and dashing across the battlefield. This agility makes it challenging for melee weapon users to land hits. A strategic move is to deploy a Flash Pod, which temporarily blinds the monster, offering a window to strike or even mount its back.

Attack the Legs

For maximum impact, target Doshaguma's legs. The forelegs, with a 3-star weakness, are particularly vulnerable. While the back legs are less susceptible at a 2-star rating, the head also presents a 3-star weak point for concentrated attacks. If you choose to strike the tail, be aware it's breakable, yielding valuable parts.

Use Fire and Lightning

In your battle against Doshaguma in Monster Hunter Wilds, harness the power of fire and lightning. Bowgun users should stock up on Flaming and Thunder ammo, while others might enhance their weapons with fire-based decorations. Focus fire attacks on the head and torso, but if you're using lightning, aim exclusively for the head.

Beware of Blastblight

Doshaguma not only deals physical damage but can also inflict Blastblight, a dangerous status effect that leads to an explosion if not addressed. Counter this by consuming a Nulberry or using Deodorant. Alternatively, you can dodge-roll three times to shake off the ailment.

Use Traps

While direct combat is thrilling, don't overlook the environmental traps scattered throughout Doshaguma's territory. Remember to sheath your weapon before deploying your slinger, and ensure the monster is precisely positioned beneath the trap before activating it.
