CrazyGames is set to launch its exciting Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 this week, running from April 25th to May 5th. This 10-day developer event is a collaborative effort with Photon, the leading multiplayer service provider, aimed at sparking innovation in web-based multiplayer games. Indie developers from around the globe are invited to participate in this thrilling game development marathon.

Participants in the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 will compete for a chance to win a share of €10,000 in cash prizes, along with premium Photon licenses. The prizes include:

  • 500 CCU with Circle Starter for a year (€7,500 value)
  • 500 CCU for a year (€1,500 value)
  • 100 CCU for a year (€100 value)

Since its inception in 2014, CrazyGames has grown to become the most popular platform for free online gaming, leveraging technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, and WebGI to deliver seamless browser-based gaming experiences across thousands of titles. In partnership with Photon, CrazyGames will provide support throughout the event and offer winners the chance to have their games published on their platform.

To kick off the jam, a pre-jam livestream will take place on April 24th at 4 pm CEST on YouTube and LinkedIn. This event will introduce two new WebGL platforms, Fusion and Quantum. Mark Val, Head of Growth at Photon Engine, expressed enthusiasm about these platforms, stating, "Photon has supported multiplayer WebGL for over a decade, and our new Fusion and Quantum samples let you create high-performant multiplayer games easily. We believe a WebGL game will be in the top 20 of the world’s most visited websites in the coming year, and the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 is a good opportunity for everyone to innovate on the platform."

Registration for the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 is free and open to game developers of all skill levels. For more details and to sign up, visit the official jam page.
