State of Decay 3 is unlikely to come out before 2026

Gaming insider Jez Corden, on a recent episode of the Xbox Two podcast, hinted at a later-than-expected release for State of Decay 3, projecting a 2026 launch.

While Undead Labs initially aimed for a 2025 release of their zombie survival title, Corden suggests a shift to early 2026. He assures fans that development is significantly further along than publicly perceived, though specifics remain undisclosed.

This news may disappoint some fans, yet it's a more positive outlook than previous speculation pointing to a 2027 release.

The June 2024 trailer offered a glimpse into the game's Mad Max-inspired post-apocalyptic setting, featuring intense zombie gunfights and vehicular combat.

State of Decay 3, set years after the initial apocalypse, challenges players to establish and defend thriving settlements against relentless undead hordes.

The game is slated for release on PC and Xbox Series consoles, marking a significant gap since the previous installment in 2018.
