Exoloper launches next week, bringing heavy metal action to mobile

by Eleanor Mar 18,2025

Exoloper, the mech battle simulator from the creators of Interloper, launches February 10th. Prepare for intense mech combat as you fight to liberate your homeworld from the oppressive Commonwealth. A free campaign lets you experience the action before deciding if you want to purchase the premium content.

Mobile gaming often lacks heavy metal mech action—a niche genre Mechwarrior helped define. While single-player mech simulators are rare, Exoloper delivers a first-person, cockpit-view experience. Forget overhead strategy; this is pure, visceral, one-on-one mech combat. If you crave a Mechwarrior experience on mobile, Exoloper might be your answer.

Developed by Anchorite Games (creators of the acclaimed space battle simulator, Interloper), Exoloper arrives on February 10th. Will it meet the high bar set by its predecessor? We'll soon find out!

Judgment & Retribution

Mech combat is a niche genre. While Mechwarrior dominated in the late 90s and early 2000s, only Mechwarrior 5 and Clans have since offered comparable experiences. Therefore, an iOS spiritual successor is surprising. While Exoloper may not match Mechwarrior's simulation depth, it offers significant immersion.
