Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, and their latest focus is the Witcher series. A concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation, created by the Sora AI YouTube channel, has recently surfaced.
The trailer emulates the aesthetic of 1980s films, leveraging the power of neural networks. It features numerous recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, Priscilla, and others. While there are subtle stylistic differences, the characters remain easily identifiable.
Recently, the developers of The Witcher 3 hinted at the inclusion of a Triss wedding scene, originally planned as the "Ashen Marriage" quest in Novigrad. The storyline depicts Triss developing feelings for Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. Geralt aids in the wedding preparations, tasks including monster extermination in the canals, acquiring alcohol, and choosing a wedding gift.
Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the gift Geralt selects. Less thoughtful gifts are poorly received, whereas a memory rose—a familiar item from The Witcher 2—elicits a strong emotional response from her.
