Recent leaks suggest a quality-of-life improvement for Arlecchino in Genshin Impact Version 5.4: a new swap animation and a Bond of Life indicator. This five-star Pyro DPS character, introduced in the Fontaine arc, has proven popular despite her complex kit.
The leak, originating from Firefly News and shared on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, showcases a visual indicator appearing above Arlecchino's model after swapping. While its exact function remains unconfirmed, the prevailing theory is that it will display her Bond of Life (BoL) levels. This mechanic, unique to certain Fontaine characters, acts as a reverse shield, depleting the BoL bar instead of increasing HP upon healing.
This addition is expected to significantly enhance Arlecchino's usability, particularly in complex battles requiring simultaneous management of multiple targets and effects. The multiple adjustments Arlecchino has received since her release highlight the complexity of her kit. Despite this, she remains a fan favorite and a top-tier Pyro DPS.
