Genvid Entertainment has started the pre-registration of their upcoming game DC Heroes United. The game’s launch is set for the end of 2024. So, if you’re itching to wield some superpowers, you can eagerly look forward to this game.
What Are The Game Features?
It’s a game that mashes up rogue-lite elements with the DC Universe. It’s going to feature icons like Superman, Batman, Cyborg and Wonder Woman. You’ll be guiding these legendary heroes through a series of episodes, making choices that shape the story.
But you’re not doing it solo. The whole DC fanbase gets to weigh in on decisions, creating a story driven by community choices. So, if you’re ever frustrated with how things go in the comics or movies, now’s your chance to see what happens when the crowd has the power.
The plot kicks off with a classic villain move. Earth-212’s heroes and villains, previously just shadows and rumours, are thrust into the spotlight by the mysterious Tower of Fate appearing in Gotham City. Lex Luthor creates mutants with a mix of heroes’ and villains’ powers. Defeat these monstrosities and unlock new heroes along the way.
In fact, DC Heroes United is an interactive streaming series. Genvid and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have cooked up something special where fans’ decisions impact not just the game but the official DC canon.
Every week, new episodes drop, and before each one, players will vote on crucial choices. How will Batman and Superman get along? Will Lex Luthor go full villain or keep it grey? Your choices will be permanent additions to the DC multiverse lore.
And then there’s the EveryHero Project, a roguelite experience woven into the game. Here, you’ll dive into a simulation cooked up by LexCorp, battling through waves of baddies like Bane and Poison Ivy. It’s a side quest that directly influences the weekly episodes.
