This is familiar territory for Rockstar fans. The iconic developer has a track record of delaying its games, so this setback for GTA 6 may not come as a huge shock. Even so, the reaction among fans has been a blend of disappointment, relief, and the realization that the internet is now primed for another year of wild, often far-fetched GTA 6 speculation.
Following the delay news, the GTA 6 subreddit—a hotbed for countless speculative theories about the game, its trailers, and potential release—erupted with activity.

There is also significant discussion around how much GTA 6 will cost. With both Nintendo and Microsoft pricing some titles at $80, fans are preparing for an $80 GTA 6. Some even speculate it could hit $100, especially if the new GTA Online is bundled in.
